Maremma Music 2025
The song of the earth and the sea

14 - 21 September 2025

We are pleased to invite you to the 2025 musical experience "Il canto della terra e del mare."

IL CANTO DELLA TERRA E DEL MARE - Earth and Sea

The "Maremma Musica" music week is a music festival in the Comunne di Campagnatico, Grosseto, Tuscany, and is aimed at music students (piano, string instruments, and voice). Accommodation and courses are held in Campagnatico, a beautiful, quiet village that has managed to retain its original character over the years. Various works for piano, chamber music ensembles, and string orchestra will be performed. All active participants have the opportunity to participate in the concerts and/or give a recital. In addition, there are three 60-minute lessons on the respective instrument.

In the idyllic landscape of central Italy, between the Tuscan hills and the coast, we invite you to vibrant musical events, concerts, recitals, and masterclasses. In the midst of musical life, we let ourselves be seduced by Italian culture and its fantastic cuisine.

The music week in Tuscany

was founded as an annual piano and chamber music course held every October by the renowned pianist and conductor Adalbert Roetschi, whose motivation was to support both young students and professional musicians in developing their technical and musical skills. Reflection on the solo and chamber music repertoire as well as more general topics that are often neglected at universities, such as musical vocation, were always important focuses of the music week.

Maremma Music 2025

After our successful relaunch last year, we are very much looking forward to the 2025 edition. In collaboration with founder Prof. Roetschi, conductor Tobias Wunderli and pianist Paula Sánchez will lead the music week in Tuscany.

In addition to the piano and chamber music workshops and recitals, this year, for the first time, workshops for string instruments and vocals will also be held.

The culmination of a varied and intensive week of instrumental lessons, rehearsals, recitals, and concerts for chamber music ensembles and orchestra.

About Us

music weeks in Tuscany

Adalbert Roetschi,

Pianist and conductor

In the course of his pedagogical and artistic work at the ZHdK and in Solothurn (CH), Adalbert Roetschi conceived an annual event to enable his students to deepen and intensify their technical and musical skills on the piano and in chamber music.

Initially in St. Moritz (CH), later in Tuscany (Italy), the music week took place for many years.
