The music week "Maremma Musica" is a music festival in the Comunne di Campagnatico, Grosseto, Tuscany and is aimed at all opera enthusiasts and music lovers. In the idyllic landscape of central Italy between the Tuscan hills and the coast, a wide range of opera performances, orchestral, chamber concerts and recitals awaits you.

In the middle of musical life, we let ourselves be seduced by Italian culture and its fantastic cuisine. If you would like to support the festival, we warmly invite you to become a member of the "Amici di Maremma Musica". Further information can be found in the link below.

The music week in Tuscany

was founded as an annual piano and chamber music course held every October by the renowned pianist and conductor Adalbert Roetschi, whose motivation was to support both young students and professional musicians in developing their technical and musical skills. Reflection on the solo and chamber music repertoire as well as more general topics that are often neglected at universities, such as musical vocation, were always important focuses of the music week.

Maremma Musica 2026

After our successful relaunch last year, we are very much looking forward to the 2026 edition. In collaboration with founder Prof. Roetschi, conductor Tobias Wunderli and pianist Paula Sánchez will lead the music week in Tuscany.

In addition to the piano and chamber music workshops and recitals, this year, for the first time, workshops for string instruments and vocals will also be held.

The culmination of a varied and intensive week of instrumental lessons, rehearsals, recitals, and concerts for chamber music ensembles and orchestra.

About Us

Adalbert Roetschi,

Pianist and conductor

In the course of his pedagogical and artistic work at the ZHdK and in Solothurn (CH), Adalbert Roetschi conceived an annual event to enable his students to deepen and intensify their technical and musical skills on the piano and in chamber music.

Initially in St. Moritz (CH), later in Tuscany (Italy), the music week took place for many years.
